Taco Soup

Taco soup is one of my family’s favorite meals. This meal is fast (you can seriously make it in 30 minutes or less.) It’s relatively healthy (depending on how many Fritos you add) It’s inexpensive and it uses hardly any dishes. Oh yeah, and it’s delicious!

Taco Soup

2 15.5 oz. cans Kidney Beans (not drained)

2 8 oz can tomato sauce

2 can 15.5 oz. chopped tomatoes

1 package McCormick Taco Seasoning

1 can garbanzo beans (drained)

1 can corn (drained)

2 cups water

1 chopped medium onion

1 pound chicken tenders

Dump all the ingredients in a soup pot—yes, even the raw chicken—and stir to combine. Cook on medium high for about 15 minutes. Remove the chicken tenders with tongs. And cut into bite size pieces. Return the chicken to the pot. If the chicken was a little pink, cook a little longer until done. If it’s all good, just mix in the chicken and serve.
